Roberta’s House is a free grief support center for children and families recovering from the loss of a loved one. It aims to teach healthy coping skills to use in daily routines. The adult bereavement programs support adults and help families learn how to help their children cope from a loss. Its children support groups serve kids and teens ages 5-17, and Camp Erin Baltimore is a free three-day long summer camp that provides grief support for kids and teens. There are specialized support groups, too, such as the Homicide Transformation Project (for survivors of homicide victims), and the Changing The Game program (for high risk teens who’ve experienced loss).
